Draw the graph of the following equation and check whether (a) x = 2, y =5 (b) x = -1, y = 3 are solutions of 5x + 3y = 4.
3y = 4 - 5x
When x = 2; y = -2
When x = 5; y = -7
When x = -1; y = 3
x = 2, y = 5 is not the solution.
But x = -1, y = 3 is the solution of the given equation.
