Answer :

Equation of line passing through points (x_{1},y_{1}) and (x_{2},y_{2}) is given by

Here (x_{1},y_{1}) = (4,-5) and (x_{2},y_{2}) = (-1,-2)

Equation of line passing through (4,-5) and (-1,-2) is given by

∴ (-3)(x-4) = 5(y + 5)

∴ - 3x + 12 = 5y + 25

∴ 12 – 25 = 5y + 3x

∴ 3x + 5y = - 13

∴ 3x + 5y + 13 = 0

Therefore equation of line passing through (4,-5) and (-1,-2) is 3x + 5y + 13 = 0
