# Let’s resolve into factors:

ax^{2}-(a^{2}-2)x-2a

Answer :

ax^{2}-(a^{2}-2)x-2a

=ax^{2}-a^{2}x + 2x-2a

=ax(x-a) + 2(x-a)

=(ax + 2)(x-a)

∴ the factors of ax^{2}-(a^{2}-2)x-2a are (ax + 2)(x-a)
