Draw the graph of

3x + 2y = 12

⇒ 3x + 2y = 12

⇒ 2y = 12 – 3x

When, x = 0 then,

⇒ y = 6

When, x = 4 then,

⇒ y = 0

On plotting, (0, 6) and (4, 0) we get the following graph,

The blue line indicates the required graph of 3x + 2y = 12

It can be clearly seen from the graph, that it cuts the x axis at (4, 0) and y axis at (0, 6)
