Find the measure of an angle which is 20° less than its supplement.
Answer :
Let x be the angle.
According to question, x is 20° less than its supplement.
So, another angle is x + 20°
As we know that, sum of compliment is 180°
So,
x + x + 20° = 180°
2x = 160°
x =80°
