Water is flowing

Answer :

Volume of water through pipe = Volume of water in the tank

Radius of the tank(R) = 40cm = 0.4m

Increase in height(H) = 3.15m

Volume of the water in the tank =

Let r be the internal radius of the pipe.

Velocity of water = 2.52km/hr

In half hour, distance travelled(L) = 2.52/2 = 1.26km = 1260m

Volume of water through pipe = Volume of water in the tank

r = 0.02m = 2cm

Diameter of the pipe = 4cm
