Q. 303.9( 7 Votes )
Find the value of k, if x = 3, y = 1 is a solution of the equation 2x + 5y = k.
Answer :
2x + 5y = k
Putting, x = 3 and y = 1 in 2x + 5y = k
⇒ 2×3 + 5×1 = k
⇒ 6 + 5 = k
⇒ 11 = k
Hence, k = 11
