# A bucket, made of

Answer :

Given:

Height of cone (h) = 35 cm

Radius of one end (r1) = 30 cm

Radius of other end (r2) = 12 cm

Price = Rs 40/litre     Capacity of container = 110×468

Capacity of container = 51,480 cm3 Capacity of container = 51.48 litres

Now,

Cost of 1 litre milk = Rs 40

Cost of 51.48 litres milk = Rs 40 × 51.48 = Rs 2059.20

If he sells half the milk at half the rate, Quantity of half the milk = 25.74 litres

Cost of 25.74 litres @ Rs 20 = Rs 25.74 × 20 = Rs 514.80

Cost of 25.74 litres @ Rs 40 = Rs 25.74 × 40 = Rs 1029.60

Total Cost = Rs 514.80 + Rs 1029.60 = 1544.40

Hence,

Capacity of container = 51.48 litres

Total Amount he received = Rs 2059.20

Total Cost (if he sell half milk at half the rate) = 1544.40
