# Find the least number of four digits which is a perfect square. What is the square root of this number?

Answer :

We know that,

Least four digit number = 1000

Now, by using long division method we get:

From above results it is clear that:

31 < < 32

Therefore,

(32)^{2} = 1024

Hence, 1024 is the least four digit perfect square number having square root 32
