Q. 2 A5.0( 4 Votes )

# In a triangle ABC, ∠A = 80° and AB = AC, then ∠B is ______A. 50°B. 60°C. 40°D. 70°

In the given ∆ABC,

A = 80° and AB = AC

⇒ ∠B = C {angles opposite to equal sides are equal}

Also, sum of all the angles of a triangle is 180°.

⇒ ∠A + B + C = 180°

2B = 180° - 80°

2B = 100°

⇒ ∠B = C = 50°
