# The LCM of 2 numbers is 11 times their HCF. The sum of LCM and HCF is 720. If one number is 360. Find the other.

Given: HCF+LCM= 720

ONE NUMBER= 360

To find: The other number

Formula used:

HCF×LCM= 1ST NUMBER × 2ND NUMBER

Explanation:

Let the HCF = X

LCM = 11 X

HCF + LCM = 720

X+ 11 X = 720

12 X = 720

X= 720/12

X = 60

HCF = 60

LCM = 11 X = 11 × 60 = 660

HCF×LCM = 1ST NUMBER × 2ND NUMBER

60× 660 = 360× 2ND NUMBER

2ND NUMBER

2ND NUMBER

2ND NUMBER = 110
