ABCD is a parallelogram in which diagonal AC bisects ∠BAD. If ∠BAC =35°, then ∠ABC =
A. 70°
B. 110°
C. 90°
D. 120°
Answer :
Given,
ABCD is a parallelogram
Diagonal AC bisects ∠BAD
∠BAC = 35°
∵∠A+∠B = 180° …………(i) [ angle sum property of quadrilateral]
∠A = 2∠BAC = 2×35° = 70°
Putting value of ∠A in equation (i)
= 70°+∠B = 180°
= ∠B = 180°-70° = 110°
∠ABC = 110°
