Let the fraction be

According to the question,



2x – 2 = y + 2


y = 2x – 4 …(i)


And,



3x – 21 = y – 2


3x = y + 19 …(ii)


Using (i) in (ii)


3x = 2x – 4 + 19


X = 15


Using value of x in (i), we get


y = 2 (15) – 4


y = 30 – 4


y = 26


Therefore, required fraction =
