# How many metalboxes of size 8 cm × 5 cm × 3 cm can be packed in a cardboard box of size 40cm × 40cm × 21cm.

Answer :

Volume of cardboard box = 40 cm × 40 cm × 21 cm

= 33600 cm

Volume of 1 metalbox = 8 cm × 5 cm × 3 cm

= 120 cm

∴ Number of metalboxes that can fit in the cardboard box = 33600 ÷ 120

= 280

= 33600 cm

^{3}Volume of 1 metalbox = 8 cm × 5 cm × 3 cm

= 120 cm

^{3 }∴ Number of metalboxes that can fit in the cardboard box = 33600 ÷ 120

= 280
