Area (Δ ABD) = 1/2 × BD × AL

Area (Δ ADC) = 1/2 × CD × AL

Area (∆ABD): Area (∆ADC) = 1/2 × BD × AL: 1/2 × CD × AL

Area (∆ABD): Area (∆ADC) = BD: CD

Area (∆ABD): Area (∆ADC) = m: n ( BD:CD = m:n)
