To find l,


l2 = r2 + h2


l2 = r2 + h2


l2 = 72 + 242


l2 = 49 + 576


l2 = 625


l = √625


l = 25 cm


Put the value of l in (2),



Curved surface area of cone = 22 × 25


Curved surface area of cone = 550 cm2


Putting all the values in (1),


Total Surface Area of remaining solid = 1056 cm2 + 154 cm2 + 550 cm2


Total Surface Area of remaining solid = 1,760 cm2


Hence, Total Surface Area of remaining solid = 1,760 cm2
