# A cone is made from a metal sheet in the form of a sector of a circle. If the radius of the circle is 14 cm and the sector angle is 60°, find the radius of the base, slant height and the height of the cone formed.

Answer :

Slant height of cone formed = radius of sector(R) = 14 cm

Now, circumference of base of cone = length of arc

∴ 2 × × r =

∴ r = cm = 2.33 cm (approx.)

Height of cone(h) = =cm

= cm

Now, circumference of base of cone = length of arc

∴ 2 × × r =

∴ r = cm = 2.33 cm (approx.)

Height of cone(h) = =cm
