# Which of the points A(0, 6), B(–2, 0), C(0, – 5) D(3, 0) and E(1, 2) does not lie on x-axis?

A. A and C

B. B and D

C. A, C and E

Answer :

We know that, a point can only lie on x-axis if its y coordinate is 0.

Hence, points A, C and E does not lie on x-axis

∴ Option C is correct
