Answer :
Given equation, 2x – 3y = 4
⇒ 3y = 2x – 4
When x = – 4, then,
⇒ y = – 4
When x = – 1, then,
⇒ y = – 2
When x = 2, then,
⇒ y = 0
When x = 5, then,
⇒ y = 2
Thus we have the following table,

On plotting these points we have the following graph,
Clearly, from the graph ( – 1, – 2) is the solution of the line 2x – 3y = 4
