# Write the equation of line parallel to the y-axis and passing through (-2, 4).

Answer :

The equation of line is given by: ax + by + c = 0

The equation of line parallel to the y-axis, x = a

Now, the line passes through (-2, 4), therefore,

-2 = a

**Hence, the equation of line is x = -2.**
