Find the sum and

Answer :

Let P(x) = px 2 + qx + pq
If a x 2 + b x + c is the polynomial, then

Sum of the zeroes of the polynomial = -( b/a )
Product of the zeroes of the polynomial = ( c/a )

Here, a = p, b = q, c = pq

∴ Sum of zeroes of the given polynomial = -(q/p)

The product of zeroes of the given polynomial = (pq/p) = q.
