Answer :

Given:

P(A) = 0.4, P(B) = 0.8 and P(B|A) = 0.6

We have to find P(A|B)

We need to find P(A∩B)

Now use the given information

⇒ P(B∩A) = 0.6 × 0.4

⇒ P(B∩A) = 0.24

P(B∩A) is same as P(A∩B)

Substitute value of P(B∩A) in (i)

⇒ P(A|B) = 0.3

Hence P(A|B) = 0.3
