# Find the perimete

Given: Side of the square ABCD = 14 cm.

Diameter of the semi-circle = 14 cm

Radius of the semi-circle = 7 cm

To find Perimeter of the shaded region.

Now, Perimeter of the shaded region = Length of the

curve CPD + Length of the curve APB + AD + BC

Now, Length of the curve CPD + Length of the curve APB

= Circumference of circle of radius 7 cm

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 7

= 44 cm

Perimeter of the shaded region = (44 + 14 + 14)

= 72 cm.

Thus, the perimeter of the shaded region = 72 cm.
