Q. 11

# 7x^{2} - 19x - 6 = ?

A. (x - 3)(7x + 2)

B. (x + 3)(7x - 2)

C. (x - 3) (7x - 2)

D. (7x - 3)(x + 2)

Answer :

7x^{2} - 19x - 6

By using splitting the middle term

= 7 x^{2} - 19x - 6

= 7x^{2} + ( - 21 + 2)x - 6

= 7x(x - 3) + 2(x - 3)

= (x - 3)(7x + 2)
