# In figure 3.48, point A is on the bisector of ∠XYZ. If AX = 2cm then find AZ.

Given, Point A is on the bisector of XYZ

AX = 2cm

Every point on the bisector of an angle is equidistant from the sides of the

angle.

Therefore, from figure

AX = AZ

AZ = 2 cm
