Answer :

In Physisorption the adsorbate molecules are held by weak van der Waal’s forces, so on decreasing the pressure it is reversible. Chemisorption involves strong chemical bonding between adsorbate and adsorbent molecules which is difficult to reverse and hence it is irreversible.
