DNA copies generated during reproduction can be similar but may not be identical to the original. This statement is correct because copying of DNA also accompanies the creation of an additional cellular apparatus. When the DNA copies are separated from each other, each copy have its own cellular apparatus and from one cell, there is production of two cells due to which copying of DNA brings variation every time. Survival cells are similar to each other but also, they have variations from each other too. That’s why no two individuals are absolutely alike in a population.
