Most leaves have the upper surface more green and shiny than the lower ones why? (AS1)

Most leaves have upper surface more green than lower one because the leaves contain more chlorophyll/ chloroplast on the leaf surface. The shine on upper surface of leaf is attributed by the presence of thick cuticle.
