Q. 174.5( 4 Votes )

If the HCF of two numbers 306 and 657 is 9 then find their LCM.

Answer :

We know the basic relation:

HCF × LCM = 1st Number × 2nd Number

1st Number = 306

2nd Number = 657

HCF = 9

LCM = (306 × 657) / 9

= 34 × 657 [as 306 / 9 = 34]

= 22,338

So LCM = 22338
