Answer :

1. The world population has been rapidly rising since 1650. It approximately reached 500 million by the 1700s. Because of the constant technical advancement in the field of medical sciences and other allied facilities, the world population has been ever increasing since then. Because of the fall in death rates and the increasing birth rates, the population growth has shown only increasing trends. In 1804, the world population reached 1 billion.

2. Population density is the measurement of population per unit area or per square kilometre. It is calculated by dividing the number of people in a country by the area of that country. Monaco has a very high population density because of its small size. It has a population density of 16779 people per square kilometre as the size of the country is just 1.95 square kilometre.

3. The population growth is determined by the differences in birth rate and death rate. The birth rate is the number of live births in a year for every 1000 women in the total population. The death rate is the number of deaths per 1000 live births. Both the factors determine the increase or decrease in population in the country. When the country experiences low birth rates and high death rates, the population growth rate will be low.

4. Population density is the measurement of population per unit area or per square kilometre. It is calculated by dividing the number of people in a country by the area of that country. Australia is the smallest continent in the world. It has a total of 0.3% of the world population. It has the least population density of 6.4 people per square kilometre.

5. Population density is the measurement of population per unit area or per square kilometre. It is calculated by dividing the number of people in a country by the area of that country. Germany has the least population density. It has a population density of 227 people per square kilometre. It is the 17th most populous country in the world.
