India lies in the south of Asia and covers most part of it.
i. It is the second most populated country in the world and Human capital is the main resource for any country which can contribute to the economic development of any country.
ii. India’s river system contains three major system- Indus, Ganga, and Brahmaputra. This river system provides water to the people of India for multiple purposes like drinking and irrigation.
iii. They also bring highly fertile alluvial soil with them and deposit in their floodplains and makes agriculture as a major source of livelihood.
iv. India has a great range of mountains known as the Himalayas in the north which blocks ocean currents and control the weather conditions of India. It is home of many natural and beautiful valleys like Kullu and Kashmir.
All these physiographic features make India’s important resource.
