Answer :

Aunt Jane went to visit the young couple at their little nest in New Hampstead. She was astonished to see their standard of living. She knew that Jack’s salary was not so high that he could afford all the luxuries that they possessed like the radio, car and refrigerator. This made Aunt Jane utter these words to Jack and Jill. Aunt Jane believed that one should not owe money to anyone in life. She herself said that she could never think of buying a house like the one Jack and Jill owned. Jack and Jill’s life would have been far better had they bought a small house somewhere in Britain which would fit their budget instead of raising so much money from loans. However, Jack’s point of view of owning a house in installments rather than spending all his earnings for paying rent was practical. He calculated that paying installments every month or paying the rent for the house was hardly have any difference and if he was paying installments at least someday he would become the owner of his house.
