How is 'stratific

Answer :

Stratification refers as the vertical layer of habitat or the arrangement of vegetation in layers. In terms of forest, layers are generally distinguished as floor layer, herbs layer, shrubs layer canopy. These vegetation layers are ranked according to their heights as shown below-

a) Soil and floor occupying the bottom most layer

b) Herbs and grasses occupy the second layer

c) Shrubs occupy the third layer

d) Trees occupy the top layer
