How do social division and politics interrelate each other? Explain it.

Answer :

The combination of politics and social divisions is very dangerous and explosive. Democracy involves competition among various political parties. Their competition tends to divide any society. If some riots start within some existing social division, then it can make a social division into political division and leads to conflict. For example, caste played an important role in Indian politics, in Kerala politics Nayars and Izhavas influence the political life of the state and have organized associations.
