At the end of the Revolution, citizens were granted the Right to Vote. The idea of liberty and equality was practised in everyday life, and the abolition of censorship was removed in 1789. The abolition of censorship change the lives of people in France after the French revolution in the following ways:
• All the written materials and the cultural activities – books, newspapers and plays in the old regime were only published after the approval by the censors of the King.
• The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen was made freedom of speech and expression as Natural rights. So, Newspapers, pamphlets, books and printed pictures began to circulate throughout the country. It led to the transfer of views, ideas and the news of events from one place to another.
