Q. 3 B

It has been a long day for sure. Multiple meetings, escalating tensions and many reschedules later I was finally able to crack a deal with the client. It is definitely going to be a fruitful one. After such a tiring and hectic day, the only solace I find is in writing to you, and you know that very well, don’t you?
I remember my childhood clearly. Father was always worried about me not being able to read or write at the age of thirteen, when other kids were excelling in school. I didn’t go to their school, either. I was homeschooled, for my father feared I would be bullied elsewhere. It was then that he appointed Cade, a bright teacher. I remember running up to him and giving him a hug when he gifted me his own pen out of love.
My first lesson with him was fun and smooth. He tried making me learn words by showing pictures, and I was good with pictures. Words baffled me, but pictures I loved. He was quite happy to see that despite being slow I was not completely unaware of the world.
I also clearly remember my first lesson with Carter. A handyman and lessons? Well, yes – he taught me how to fix a tire, and I learnt it in no time! Carter was a patient, loving man who taught me step-by-step with affection. It was because of this lesson that I was able to earn my first dollar in a few days by fixing a tire for a woman’s car. Teachers, after all, come in all shapes and sizes.
