(i) The above reaction is zero order reaction. Order here means that the rate of reaction is dependent on substrate concentration. In the above reaction, the rate of reaction is totally dependent on catalyst (platinum) and not dependent on substrate concentration. Moreover the reaction stops when platinum solid reach to its saturation and cannot adsorb annyother molecule of NH3.
