The different features of underground mining are:
a. Lifts, drills, haulage vehicles, and a ventilation system for safe and efficient movement of people and materials.
b. It is done where the ore lies deep down below the surface. Vertical shafts are sunk from where the underground galleries radiate to reach the minerals.
c. The method used is risky due to poisonous gases, fires, floods, and caving as it can lead to accidents.
