Brokerage charges =
Selling price of scooty = 28,000
Selling Price = amount sindhu gets + brokerage charges
= x+0.025x
1.025x = 28,000
x =
x = 27,300 (rounded off, actual value 27317.07)
∴ Money sindhu gets = Rs.27,300
The commission that the agent gets = 28000-27300
= Rs.700
