# The top of a tower makes an angle of 45° at a point in the horizontal plane at a distance of 20 m. Find the height of the tower.

Drawing the diagram so that we get a better perspective of the question,

We know that from trigonometric ratios that,

Therefore, using this ratio in this problem,

Height = 20

Therefore, the height of the pole is 20m.
