Lemons were bought at Rs 48 per dozen and sold at the rate of Rs 40 per 10. Find the gain or loss per cent.
Given that, Lemons bought at Rs 48 per dozen and sold at Rs.40 per 10.
⇒ cost of 12 lemons = Rs.48 (∵ 1 dozen lemons = 12 lemons)
Now,selling price of 10 lemons = Rs.40
⇒ cost price of 1 lemon = selling price of 1 lemon
⇒ there is neither profit nor loss.
