Lemons were bought at Rs 48 per dozen and sold at the rate of Rs 40 per 10. Find the gain or loss per cent.

Answer :

Given that, Lemons bought at Rs 48 per dozen and sold at Rs.40 per 10.

cost of 12 lemons = Rs.48 ( 1 dozen lemons = 12 lemons)

= Rs.4

Now,selling price of 10 lemons = Rs.40

= Rs.4

cost price of 1 lemon = selling price of 1 lemon

there is neither profit nor loss.
