Let b be the side and h be the height of a rhombus.
Area of rhombus = b × h


[ area of rhombus = base × corresponding height]


If each side of rhombus is doubled, then side of rhombus = 2b
Now, area of rhombus = 2b × h = 2(b × h)


= 2 times of original


Hence, the area of rhombus will be increased by 2 times.
