# If a, b, c are in A.P., prove that are in A.P.

Given: a, b, c are in AP

Since, a, b, c are in AP, we have a + c = 2b …(i)

To Prove : are in AP

(b – a)(b + a) = (c – b)(c + b)

b – a = c – b

2b = a + c, which is True ... from (i)

Hence, the result.
