∠ DEC=∠ BEF [Vertically opposite angles]

∠ ECD=∠ EBF [Alternate angles]

And;

∴ Δ DCE ≅ Δ FBE

As Δ DCE ≅ Δ FBE

Then

DC=BF

And DC=AB [opposite sides of parallelogram are equal]

Hence ;

AB=BF

AF=AB+BF

AF=2AB.
