Find the number of terms of the A.P.6, 10, 14, 18, ..., 174?

Here, a = 6 , d = 10 – 6 = 4 and l = 174

where l = a + (n – 1)d

174 = 6 + (n – 1)(4)

174 = 6 + 4n – 4

174 = 2 + 4n

174 – 2 = 4n

172 = 4n

Hence, the number of terms in the given AP is 43
