Two supplementary angles differ by 48°. Find the angles.

Answer :

Given that,

Two supplementary angles are differ by 48o


Let, the angle measured be xo


Therefore, its supplementary angle will be (180o – x)


It is given that,


(180o – x) – x = 48o


2x = 180o – 48o


x = 66o


Hence, 180o – x = 114o


Therefore, angles are 66o and 114o.
