Two supplementary angles are in the ratio 4 : 5. Find the angles.

Answer :

Supplementary angles are in the ratio 4: 5

Let the angles be 4x and 5x.

It is given that they are supplementary angles

Therefore,

4x + 5x = 180o

x = 20o

Hence, 4x = 80o

5x = 100o

Therefore, angles are 80o and 100o.
