If a car covers 102 km with 6.8 litres of petrol. How much distance will it cover wit 24.2 litres of petrol?
Answer :
Given that,
Distance covered by the car in 6.8 litres = 102km
by using the unitary method,
Distance cover by the in one litres
i.e. 15km per litre
Distance cover in 24.2 litres = 15 × 24.2
= 363 km
