# Find the roots of the following quadratic equations by factorisation: Now, to find the roots by factorisation, we need to factorise 10 such that the sum is 10 and the product is 7√3 × √3 = 21

We can do that by 7 and 3.

So,

√3x2 + 10x + 7√3 = 0

√3x2 + 3x + 7x + 7√3 = 0

√3x(x + √3) + 7(x + √3) = 0

(√3x + 7)(x + √3) = 0

(√3x + 7) = 0  Or

x + √3 = 0

x = -√3

Hence, the solutions of the given quadratic equations are -√3 and .
