Q. 14 A5.0( 4 Votes )

Find the roots of the following quadratic equations by factorisation:

2x2 — 5x + 3 = 0

Answer :

2x– 2x – 3x + 3 = 0

2x (x– 1) – 3(x – 1) = 0

(2x – 3) (x – 1) = 0

2x – 3 = 0

x – 1 = 0

x =1

Therefore, the roots of the equation are , 1.
